April 2011 changes to employment legislation

A number of changes to employment legislation which could affect your business clients come into force in April 2011. For example:

• Fathers of babies due or children adopted on or after 3 April 2011 will become entitled to additional paternity leave rights.

• From 6 April 2011, the right to request flexible working will be extended to parents with children under 18.
