Regulation of Will-Writing
Support grows for regulation of will-writing
Further to the BBC Panorama broadcast supporting our view that will-writing should be a regulated activity, there has been a surge of recent support.
A recent article in the Law Society Gazette shows that there is growing support from Consumer Organisations, Charitable Organisations and Trade Unions for the regulation of will-writing.
As opposed to non-regulated will-writers, solicitors are fully qualified and are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. They offer the security of accountability and a clear course of redress, backed by insurance.
