Prescribed information

A Court of Appeal case emphasises the importance of the prescribed information that landlords must give tenants under tenancy deposit schemes (TDS) and the need for them to be meticulous when giving them the information. The court held that the prescribed information must be provided directly to tenants. It is not sufficient to merely identify the TDS and let the tenant make their own investigations.
