Suzanne Moore - Head of Family Law Department

158 Suzanne qualified in 1994 and has a wealth of experience in all areas of family law. As an Advanced Member of the Law Society Family Panel and Resolution Accredited Specialist her expertise has been verified and the accomplishment recognised by the Law Society and Resolution.

Resolution members commit to a code of practice, which means that Suzanne will try to work with you and others to reduce emotional and financial hardship, and strive to help you find the best solution in a non-confrontational way, as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Suzanne is also a Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer.  Collaborative law is an alternative to the traditional way of resolving matters and involves looking for practicable and amicable solutions face to face to the benefit of the family as a whole, without involving the Court.

Suzanne is approachable and has good technical skills. A well respected solicitor in her field, Suzanne has developed a close working relationship with the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Foundation in Manchester and along with her colleague Les Patient co-wrote “Civil Partnerships - everything lesbians & gay men need to know”, and “A guide to your legal rights for lesbian, gay and bisexual people”. Suzanne is at the forefront of advising same sex couples on all aspects of separation, financial and children matters.

Suzanne is a past President of Stockport Incorporated Law Society.

When not at work Suzanne enjoys running, OCR, boot camp and travelling.
