Free Half Hour Consultation

We offer a free half hour options meeting. The purpose of the options meeting is to give general information about the separation/divorce process and how the Courts approach financial matters and children when a relationship breaks down. The half hour free session also covers the alternatives to Court proceedings such as Mediation, Collaborative Law and Separation Agreements. The purpose of this appointment is to demystify the Court process and inform you as to other options available on relationship breakdown. It will give you an idea of what each process entails, and the likely timescale and cost of each option.

Advice is generic and not case specific and can cover areas such as;

  • Divorce/Separation.
    Dissolution of Civil Partnerships.
  • Financial implications following the breakdown of the marriage or civil partnership.
  • Children issues including Parental Responsibility and child arrangements.
  • Pre-nuptial and Post-nuptial Agreements.
  • Cohabitation Disputes.
  • Living Together Agreements.
  • Declarations of Trust.
  • Domestic Abuse.

The free half hour consultation is a no obligation, one-off appointment. Should you subsequently wish to instruct a Solicitor in the Family Law Department to act on your behalf, we offer a range of fixed fee services.
